Begin indoors

Find a familiar area indoors where you and Glide can safely walk on a clear, straight path without obstacles or stairs. A hallway or clear path through a room. Choose a point of reference with at least ten feet of clear space in front of it, such as a wall, counter, large appliance, or furniture item. Get the box that Glide arrived in and place it horizontally, flat on the floor ten feet away from your chosen starting point as a target. Unplug Glide from the charger.
