In standby position, tap once to hear battery charge status. Glide will respond with 1 to 10 beeps. Each beep represents 10% power. For example, 2 beeps is 20% and 9 beeps is 90% charged. If Glide is connected to a power supply, you will hear a chime first before the percent charged indicator beep sequence.
-
In ready position, tap once to set your direction of travel forward, based on 12 o’clock alignment of your knuckles. Glide will respond with, “continuing forward.”
-
In ready position, press and hold to start or stop crossing mode. Glide will respond with “crossing” when you start this mode, and “crossing complete” when you stop this mode. In crossing mode, Glide will allow you to walk on asphalt, grass, dirt, gravel, and other surfaces that it otherwise avoids during sidewalk travel. While in crossing mode, the safety lights flash on/off continuously.
