1. In any position, press and hold to turn Glide on when it is off. To confirm you pushed the power button, Glide will pulse twice. Glide then plays the boot-up sequence described in step 8 of “Getting to know your Glide” and announces “Let’s Glide!”

2. In any position, press and hold to turn Glide off when it is already on. To confirm you pushed the power button, Glide will pulse twice. As Glide shuts down, you will hear a long descending tone followed by two tones. At this point, release the power button. Glide is now off. If you hear the long descending tone but do not hear the final two tones, Glide has not yet been turned off.
